SWING ARM GATE
The SWING ARM GATE (SAG) features a structural steel beam that opens horizontally for crash-rated vehicle security. Great for controlled access points with low to medium vehicle traffic, the manually operated SAG can secure multiple lanes of traffic or wide checkpoints up to 36 feet, or up to 32 feet with the electro-mechanical operated SAG. For longer spans or split traffic situations two single gates can be combined with a removable or fixed center receiver SuperPost to deter, deny, and delay threats.

OVERVIEW
The unique 90º pivot assembly allows for unobstructed use of the roadway, safe positioning of the arm, and minimal setback from the roadway opening. The SAG Protected Side Open allows you to move your gate up to the perimeter of the property, eliminating the need for additional setback distance. The optional 180º pivot allows for the open arm to be secured without obstructing the surrounding area.
The SAG is available in manual and operated models. In manual operation, the hinges, low friction bearings, and overall balance of the beam require minimal force for opening and closing. The catching mechanism is passive - no operator action is required to catch the beam and provide crash protection. Positive locking mechanisms can be provided that allow the SAG to be locked in the closed or open positions.
The operated SAG is entirely electro-mechanical, making it ideal for sites where hydraulic fluids are prohibited. It includes a warning horn, flashing light, inherent entrapment sensing and photoelectric sensor in accordance with UL 325 standards. Operated models include control panel, controls, and electro-mechanical operator.
The SAG with a concrete barrier mount requires no excavation. Offering crash-rated protection up to 20,000 lbs at 50 mph, the SAG’s modular option fits your temporary or portable security needs. A SAG with a concrete barrier requires no excavation, allowing you to place them at virtually any location.

The standard foundation SAG can be installed across existing roadways with no roadway excavation. It only requires excavation outside the roadway opening, avoiding underground utilities and other obstructions.
